After much though and intenal debate, I have finally redesigned my personal site. Since my last revision, some features became more prominant than others so it made sense to spend some time and energy further developing them.

eBird Realign
Converted the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's very popular eBird.org site from one CMS to Plone. In the process of developing a custom Plone skin for the content pages, the design was cleaned up a bit as well as new custom objects were written for the Plone management interface. One of the cool, time-saving design features of this realignment was to allow easy uploading new banner photos into Plone without having to create an entire composite banner.

Birds of North America Redesign
Since there was a major backend conversion of CMSs going on, it was an opportunity to redesign this popular Cornell Lab of O site. Subscriber comments were taken into account as well as input from the editors who had been working with the site for a number of years.

With more of a purpose this time around, this Flash movie is a single frame relying on Actionscript for the animation and interactivity.

Brunton Transit Introduction
My first foray into Flash. Simple scenes and animation, but I found the design interface a joy to work with, the images basically drew themselves.
